Humann has developed SuperBeets® CardioO2 Energy Chews, a betalains supplement from beet root extract. Betalains are plant compounds that are studied for their antioxidant properties and make up the red pigment in beets. CardiO2 Energy Chews are formulated with potent betalains that help support healthy free radical balance during exercise and promote healthy vascular function and aerobic exercise performance.

Recommendations for combining CardiO2 Energy Chews with SuperBeets® Sport:  

Prior to Competition

Start taking 1 serving of CardiO2 Energy Chews and SuperBeets® Sport each day for 3 days before competition. On the day of competition, take 1 serving of each supplement 45 minutes before competing. If competing at night, take an additional serving of each supplement the morning of competition.  

Training

Take 1 serving of CardiO2 Energy Chews and SuperBeets® Sport 45 minutes before workout. If training twice per day take each supplement before each training session. This will not only help improve the workout but also improve the rate of training adaptation. 

Prolonged Events

If events are longer than 3 hours, supplement 45 minutes before the event with CardiO2 Energy Chews and SuperBeets® Sport and then with each supplement at 3-hour intervals until completion of the event.
